We interrupt our regularly scheduled program to talk about Robert Redford.
I could literally stare at that man’s face all day long. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid starring him and Paul Newman is almost too much handsome for one film. Like, it seems not physically possible. I cannot fully grasp that film from the sheer shock of beautiful faces. In Legal Eagles there’s a scene where his character Tom is in a restaurant grabbing lunch and in this one shot he just turns and you get full view of his face…I let out an audible sigh. Yeah, he’s beautiful but he’s also so much. He’s an actor, director, the founder of the Sundance festival and a political activist for many groups including LGBT and Native rights. In his directorial debut he won an Oscar for best director and best film. That film was 1980’s Ordinary people.
So he’s a fantastic actor a phenomenal director, activist, entrepreneur, philanthropist and just seems like a decent human being.
There ya have it…not just a good face…so much more.
